To get rich you need a plan. Look at the plan you have now. Is it work for someone else, spend all your money, get old, retire, have a pension die?
That plan will never get you rich.
If your plan is work on yourself, develop your skills to make more money, invest money, get money to work for you, Invest before you buy luxuries and buy with the profits, get an investment portfolio making more money than your job, retire.
then you will be rich.
Being rich is not just about how hard you work, it is about how you spend your money.
Read Rich Dad Poor Dad.
Also look at how you are working on yourself. What skills are you developing? How are you improving yourself. For things to change you must change.

Getting rich is easy. Live beneath your means, and save/invest the rest. Over decades, you will become wealthy. Sounds simplistic, and it is. It's not sexy or quick, but it's easy and everyone can do it.
Below are links to 2 really good books that may turn your life around when it comes to thinking about money. The first is called The Millionaire Next Door and it looks at how millionaires got rich. They did it by forgoing the flashy cars and big houses, and instead investing their money or plowing it into their businesses.
The second book is Automatic Millionaire. It talks about living beneath your means and putting your saving / investing plan on automatic pilot, so you save automatically before you ever see the money.

money's easy to make, its holding onto it that makes the difference. other than getting lucky, or being a thief, your best bet is knowledge and working your butt off. live within your means and stay out of debt. save every penny you can, don't spend it foolishly. learn about investments ... the more you save the bigger it gets ....the bigger it gets the more you make on interest ....P's don't lend it all away..you'll rarely get it back ;).....good luck!!!!
