What makes the Patriots NFL team so good?

Do you think the Patriots are cheating with knowing the other teams play calls? How come they are so dominate this year more then any other year?

I am not a pats fan but you have to give them their props. They are not where they are because of spygate, it is because they are a well balanced, well disciplined football team and you can say all you want about Bill Belichick but he is a football coach with a brilliant mind who has matured enough to really trust his coaching staff and to get along with his players. Being a Browns fan, We had him in Cleveland for a few years, unfortunately he made his mistakes here and learned from them as he made his way to N.E. When he was HC of the Browns, he brought alot of problems on himself with the media, fans,players, his staff, etc even though he blamed the local media from trying to run him out of town. I mean, what would you do if you were a fan and Belichick just cut local hometown hero Bernie Kosar in the middle of the season and also traded Michael Dean Perry when Perry still had some good football left in him. I still believe to this day that Art Modell tried to make Belichick the fall guy to sneak the team out of Cleveland To Baltimore, But whatever mistakes were made by Belichick, he has learned from them instead of blaming everyone else & everybody and he will also overcome "spygate" as it is called now, but just remember, every team to my understanding, was doing this, Belichick and his staff were the ones who just got caught!!!!

This Colts game wouldn't of been as close had it not been for some bogus penalty calls. Colts show they still can't do it when it counts against a great Patriots team. People will make the excuse that it was because Marvin Harrison wasn't playing, but he hasn't even been the Colts leading receiver this year and if Peyton Manning was as clutch as everyone says he is he would of done it without Harrison, just like Brady has been doing it year after year... but no, Manning blew the game and coughed up the turnover... Deja Vu! And the Patriots are 7-3 vs. the Colts and they did this in the RCA Dome against the odds.

Tom Brady makes the patriots so good. He uses what he has, and takes what you give him. He just keeps getting better. He'll be known as the greatest player of all time. They put the team first, and Tom Brady shows them all how to do that. Then they play like a team, a harmonious, well oiled machine of a team. This could be the greatest football team of all time.

Brady is getting smarter every year he plays in the league. This year he finally has some named talent to throw to. Before it was Brady making the no name guys look good. Now he has the big targets and makes his job even easier.

WR's and a rather easy schedule so far. Cowboys and Colts only tough teams so far. Cowboys were in it until the 4th, and Colts most definitely could have won today. Both teams showed that the Pats have weaknesses. And the day teams realize that all the have to do is stop the deep pass, that is the day they beat the Pats. Colts had been doing that pretty well, but then let a few slip in and were too conservative with their playcalling in the 2nd half

I think the addition of Randy Moss and Wes Welker are the main reasons the Pats offense is beating everyone right now, they just have too many weapons for one team to cover.

Because they know how to get by with the skin of their teeth because that has been the only situations they have ever been in when tom brady first showed up. All of those super bowls, they wone at least one of those playoff games by a last second field goal. Any quarterback can throw all day with receivers like that and the time he gets to throw. Tom brady does not get hit often, at all. Te colts gave him some hits, but teams need to get in there and hit him hard because he hasn't been hit hard enough. When teams starting hitting tom brady like mac trucks rolling in.....the patriots are finished. I dont believe they are cheating. It's just because tom brady has 9 years to throw the majority of his passes. any quarterback can do that if he gets it, but no other quarterback does get it. the patriots defense isn't better than any other. all they have is that offense. you hit tom brady.....hes done. you can tell by the way he gets up and the look on his face every time he's hit. you give it to him enough, he will be dropping back scared
