Corporate leaders and religious fundamentalism are creating a world order that puts them in control for profit and power. Christians believe that Muslims are going to jihad everyone so they are on a crusade. The corporations victimize weaker nations and are initiating land grabs all over the world. Watch for the next big grab in Africa, even China is going for some land. Look at Pakistan and how the US works its way into that country. The US and Russian are both trying to claim the Arctic for resources. The Russians are doing fly overs in Alaska and the US is causing this by hanging out in Eastern Europe and sniffing around those countries. We will be feeling the pinch for decades because of this war and oncoming wars and land grabs all over the world. If the corporations can create a depression then citizens will be hungry for a war economy and foreign resources to aid us. It's such a sorry mess that even a change in leadership will only put the brakes on the trend for a short time.

America has been seized by the International Corporate Fascist Movement like a fatal case of dysentery.
We are on the verge of an Argentine style economic collapse.
The Constitution has been circumvented. We are currently being ruled by a serial monarchy.

I'll be frank. Americans don't understand how the rest of the world works. They haven't traveled outside their own borders to see what real police states are, what true poverty is, and what horrible human rights atrocities are. It's about not having a real sense of perception of how blessed we are in this country. We bicker over whether our leader is great or horrible - when in the scope of human history Bush will be forgotten in the shuffle of time. He hasn't done anything as horrible as Hitler, Amin, Stalin, Mao. People that, if you know who they are, are laughable to even make the comparison. We are a nation of sensationalism. We follow the careers of movie stars. We spend money on houses larger than just about anywhere else in the world. Even the small ones. We take this country for granted. We are lazy and don't assume responsibility for ourselves. We gripe when we're faced with the mundane things like the cable is out, we hit traffic on the way to work, we had to wait in the doctor's office. In some countries there is 50% unemployment! People walk for 2 days to see a doctor. And tv? Not even on their radar. We have running water. Schools (even if the education provided in them is debatable). Electricity. We are a selfish bunch more interested in creating more debt for ourselves than giving our efforts to benefit others. We don't understand delaying gratification for ANYTHING. We don't work and save and plan and hope anymore.
It's time for Americans to take responsibility for their role in this and stop blaming everyone else but themselves.
Sorry, this has turned into a ramble. I'll stop now.

Because the Fed is keeping interest rates extremely low until the Republicans lose the White House, then they will jack it up to levels we haven't seen in 30 years and it will bring back an era of stagflation worse than the 70's so the Republicans can win back the office in 4 years and continue their fascist takeover of the USA.

As the Democratic Socialist party, yes it's their official name, bring us closer and closer to communism we will as history points out FALL.
Guys, internationally, who the heck every cared about the U.S. before. I'll give you all a hint...Not one!!! Not until they get in a jam and come running for us to bail them out of their problems.
Economically, the damned Federal Reserve Board has too much power, Alan Greenspan orchestrated the whole mess.

America is going down hill faster than we realize.
To be quite honest, I blame it on Bush. Not because everyone blames him for everything, but because it is his fault.
Our International affairs have been ruined because of him. Because of his arrogance with the Middle East, the rest of the world now hates us. Imagine if that hate turned into something bigger. Eventually, the rest of the world is going to turn their guns on us. And despite what Conservatives may think, we can't take on everyone at once.
Economically... We're also out of control. Everyone should have seen the housing market ordeal coming, and they should have done something about it. But Bush has said that he will no do anything about it because it would taint "free enterprise".
Let's face it... We're in for hell. It's time we stepped up to the plate and took control of this ship. If we don't, we're going to break into another Great Depression.

I'll just stick to Congress. It is because of Congress. Nothing is getting done and the hate spewed by both parties is growing. Notice the polls lately, I'm not the only one who is getting fed up with their BS.
