international government, to replace/subsume their individual governments, would it make WWIII less likely, or more likely? Would it increase the odds that it would happen sooner, or make it more likely to not happen so soon?

By merging all of those countries you'd have created a world with five nations: BIG (or whatever you call your merged country), Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea.

Russia and China are stable enough, but Iran and North Korea can get a little dicey. If BIG had a leader with a mindset similar to the current White House, there's a good chance that some kind of hostility would break out between it and one of those two countries. Since BIG is the majority of the land area and population on the planet, pretty much any war that it is involved in would be a world war.

It would also probably be likely that internal unrest in BIG would lead to some kind of civil war within that country. Heck, Canada is a pretty peaceful place, but Quebec gets all grumpy and tries to secede every once in awhile. Image what it would be like with most of the rest of the world crammed into one political structure!

It would just cause more stagnation, corruption, and bureaucracy. Just look at the Uited Nations, or any other international organization. They never accomplish anything, yet trillions are wasted on these worthless organizations.

These organizations are nothing more than big government socialist principles on a larger scale. Where wealth redistribution isn't done for the individual, but for nations.

It will never happen because people just can't get along. People in the same country can't get along so how do people from different countries get along?
