He states that when government intervenes in something it makes it more expensive (like health care today). Through Government control it creates barriers to entry for new companies who don't have a lot of funding thereby increasing the chances of failure for the new company. You have less competition and higher prices. He points out that less regulated industries (like computers) have technological advances AND prices that keep going down yet the jobs in these industries tend to be the ones that create a lot of jobs as well.
