what war crimes?

Presidents cover their own. It's kind of an unspoken rule and crosses party lines. If there's ever a question about the next president, they want to be sure the next person in the job covers them too.

First I'd like to mention that the U.S. signed the Geneva Conventions, which specifically ban the torture of war prisoners. That means that any U.S. leader who orders the torture of war prisoners IS guilty of a war crime, and despite the ignorance of some folks above, Bush and Cheney ordered torture in violation of the Geneva Conventions, making them war criminals. However, I think they should be tried here in the U.S. for their crimes against the American people, such as: violation of the 1978 Presidential Records Act (illegal wiretapping); countless breaches of laws regarding conflict-of-interest; racketeering, as in conspiring to fix oil prices; contempt of Congress; obstructing justice; bribery and/or coercion of Federal judges; intimidating Federal witnesses; evidence tampering; and (in Cheney's case) the shooting of Harry Whittington. Not to mention the failure to enforce numerous laws on immigration and the environment.

They haven't committed any crimes so it would be pretty bogus to try them. No, they will both probably write a book, go on speaking tours, fundraisers, maybe make a documentary, etc. They'll both do quite well and make a LOT of money. Maybe even be given the Nobel Prize.

No. We will never subordinate our national sovereignty to some arbitrary "world" body.

The day that liberals attempt that type of crime is the day that they need to learn the meaning of the 2nd amendment.

Who said they were going to leave office? if you have kept up with the development and funding of Blackwater by this administration you would see that they will own their own army, navy and air force! Bush has set up prisons all over the world so I think most of the countries realize that they are dealing with a real maniac here.

I think you got your pony tail too tight doofus.

The American Congress authorized military action in Iraq, as that is what i am sure you are calling war crimes.

So charge the Senate. The vote was nearly unanimous.

PS
You spelled EXTRADITE wrong, and you had spell check.
