How'd everyone feel about that game.. I thought for sure New England was gonna lose their first game this season. As an avid Patriots fan, the game definetly kept me on the edge of my seat.. but I gotta admit, it was nice to see Manning taken down those few times...
AND what about that one hand catch Moss made.. and brought it down, with one hand.

Iron Mongo-
TOTALLY agree with your whole concept of neither team playing their best... I'll admit that the Colts did play good, and NE made a good comeback...but as my brother said, if they lost.. they deserved to.. they didn't play their best at all yesterday.

First of all...yes, you are cute. I won't ask for the best answer because I said that though lol, but you are.

I liked the game. It was a good game. Moss was putting on a show but it wasn't very spectacular because that's what moss does lol he does it all the time because his hands are like 8 feet long lol...anyways, both team played like crazy. the colts had their running back rolling the whole game. he put on a performance...that guy brough his game. the patriots, the did what they do. You have to put up points against them to take them out but the colts seemed to have been having trouble with that here and there. any other time vs any other team, manning scores at will, but for some reason, he just has trouble with the patriots, and every quarterback has that team where they always do have trouble against them. Colts just got in a heavy situation and couldn't finish the job. Tom Brady has been there and done that probably too many times lol. He has had more last second games than anyone i have seen so when a game is close in anyway, you better believe it that brady will score, it just will he leave enough time for you to come back and score and if he does, can you take it back the other way with no mistakes and take the victory, and the colts got overwelmed by that that's all.

From what I have seen between these two teams, one team doesn't win both times if they face each other twice, and if they do in the playoffs, the colts will come out on top i think, but i can always be wrong. Marvin Harrison being out for the colts has a pain in the side of the colts because he is their go to guy and has been the last 9 years. The guy gets open at will more than any one else does. Between him and manning they have combined for over 200 touchdowns in their careers already i believe. so that was a heartbreaker to them because no receiver for the colts can come out and fill harrisons roll.

That's what I think of it and again, you are cute ;-) sorry for changing the subject and hitting on you lol I love talking football too and can for hours

They were with out question attempting to cost the Patriots the game. The bypass interference calls adversarial to the Pats were poor. An on the spot replay confirmed a Colts defender preserving down the right arm of Randy Moss (No call). The Pats were talked about as for put off of recreation through a Rosie Colvin spike after the interception close to the end of the game. 2 performs earlier a Colts participant ripped the helmet off a Patriots participant and through it (No call). Then on events Radio in Boston immediately, there changed into communicate of the Colts organization turning up the quantity of the crew by the Stadium PA equipment at the same time as the Pats had the ball. this may be worse than the so talked about as secret agent Gate! bottom line, the Pats will run the table and bypass undefeated. lets all say it! they're the superb crew of all time! in spite of the refs attempting to take the game far flung from them. The refs should be investigated! The Colts and the PA equipment dishonest scandal should be investigated! Eric Mangini can be back fetching water for the genuine coaches next 365 days. he's executed, washed up, complete!

Lots of things that you can be sure Coach Bellichik will let the Patriots know about tomorrow that should not have happened:
1. Why was there an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty called against a Patriot lineman for pushing a defender out of bounds?
2. Why did Matt Light commit a personal foul on an interception?
3. How in the he!! did Joseph Addai go 79 yards on a simple outlet pass at the end of the first half?
4. How did the Colts dancing linemen dance past Kaczur and Light so often?
Don't get me wrong, there was a lot to like in a very tough win against a very good team, but the next time they play the Colts will have Marvin Harrison as well as Anthony Gonzalez to go with Reggie Wayne.

pretty good game all around...didnt care for the final result but then again i'm not a Pats fan to be honest. i give credit where its due though. The Pats did what they needed to win that game and Moss (well he's Moss) what can you say. I just wish when i had him in FF last year...he was putting up numbers like he is this year (another story though). Great game all around just shows how closely the Pats and Colts are in terms of skill level and talent along with some really solid coaching as well.

I look for a different result next time because they will meet again in the playoffs.

The game was entertaining to those who understand the nuances of football. Both teams played to win, and didn't cater to the demands of the networks for a high scoring shootout.

It is so blatantly obvious that these two teams are the creme de la creme in the NFL.

The only things that really bothered me were the following:
The colts didn't have Tony Ugoh, or Harrison.

Brady seemed to be locked on to Moss, instead of spreading it out like usual.

Belichick seemed to have a problem with Dungy after the game. There was a obviously bitter feeling there when they shook hands after the game.

All in all, this was a great game. I hope that they meet again in the AFC championship.

Honestly I never worried because I knew the Patriots don't just roll over. The Patriots D held the colts to 3 field goals in a row which is awesome considering the Colts offense. They just found a way to win like they always do. Take away the 150 yards on Pentalies and the Patriots would have won by a lot more.

I was rooting for the Pats. They won with good old fashioned defense and their offense came alive at the end of the game. They proved that you don't have to dominate the whole game, just the part that counts. Brady was excellent in the clutch and made Manning look average. The Pats D pushed around for the first half stepped it up stopping the Colts on 5 of their 6 2nd half drives. The Pats offense with Moss, Stallworth and Welker proved to much to handle for a whole game. And the depleted Colts WR corp couldn't do much for Manning. Overall it was a great game with many great individual efforts, but the best team won.

I enjoyed the game, i am a big Colts fan, it pained me to read that you enjoyed seeing manning get taken down, but I swallow my pride, the Patriots won, I just wished that Patriots could enjoy the win, rather than looking for excuses about why they didn't score 40 or whatever their reasoning is...penalties happen, how long will we here bout this

hopefully we get to see an instant classic in the playoffs this year

yeah, the Patriots beat the Colts and the refs to win the game. While I am not a Patriot fan, I was very unhappy about the refs slanted so heavily toward the Colts (same as in '05 when my Steelers won against the the Colts and their refs).

Moss, and Brady were great, and that D put in a great performance. Congrats to Patriot fans!

well. the refs made a few questionable calls...and neither team played their best during much of the game......but there are few guys that are as much fun to watch in the 4th quarter, coming from behind as Brady and his Merry Men.

And yes, the Moss 1 hander was poetry...and the 55 yd hookup was pretty dang sweet too.
