Recently i was given the choice to buy one of the new gaming systems. At first i was going to go with xbox 360 because of the price but just now Ps3 has dropped its price to $399.99. I know people argue that Ps3 doesnt have any games but i i kno in the future their will be many. Im scared to get xbox 360 due to the hardware error that has occured to many of my friends on more than one occassion Plz help me make the right choice.. My mind is sort of set on ps3 but im still reluctant on which to choose

I'm not going to get in a lot of detail because this question has been asked so many times, but get a PS3.
Basically, if you get a 360, your just buying a defective game console and eventually you'll have to send it in for repairs. With the PS3, you'll never have to worry about that.
Also, the PS3 does have good games out now, people that say the PS3 doesn't have any games are lying to themselves. The PS3 is getting way more exclusives this month next month and next year than the Xbox 360. The 360 is just a online console with a bunch of overrated first person shooters like Halo 3. Without Halo 3 the Xbox 360 would be nothing. Sony doesn't need to have one game to sell the whole system. After all of the Halo games are over then what? Nothing that's what!
Get a PS3, the better game console and the future of gaming.

I own both I just got my ps3 about a month ago and its well worth especially if you have an HDTV as far as the 360 goes its has allot More better games right now but it might break on you my 360 plays games fine but DVD player is jacked up you have to stand it up right and if you get lucky it might play other than that the 360 is fine but my overall opinion is get a ps3 the future looks allot brighter but you cant go wrong with anyone

If you are ready to shell out the dough ps3 is the best choice, they have a moderate amount of games to tide you over untill developers launch th next line of next gen. however the 360 is the more economic choice but... If you do decide to go the 360 route, dont even bother with the core system it is little better than the ps2. Wasted the money, still getting a ps3.

BUY THE 360 ITS GOT THE SAME GRAPHICS AS A PS3 CHEAPER AND BUILT IN MEMORY CARDS AND YOU CAN DOWNLOAD MOVIES AND GAMES ON THE 360
