Have you tried www.maxtor.com ?
Also remember 98SE will probably NOT be able to access a LARGE partition as one . . . .

Also the instructions it came with should tell you where to find the 98 drivers.

The way USB works is it maintains a table of all the different USB devices that have been attached to your computer. Sometimes that table will get corrupted and it will no longer recognize a device. It has bad information about the device in the table. What you can do is to clear that table by uninstalling all the USB ports on your computer. Go into the Device Manager, select each of the devices in the USB section of the Device Manager, right click on them, and uninstall all of them. (You will want to be sure you are using a non-USB mouse when you do this.) Reboot the computer, and it will redetect the USB ports and reinstall them with a clean table. Once they have been detected, plug in the hard drive and it should work again.

You can't. Nobody is making drivers for Win 98 anymore.

I get all of my drivers from driverguide.com. They have almost everything. You have to register, but it's free, and it's worth it.
