i think this also damages my rotors cause i go through them once a year too. ive already replaced the calipers, (in pairs of course).i know brake pads are suppose to wear down flat and evenly and rotors should last a life time (no i dont drive like a maniac). it seems like there is something wrong that keeps causing this over and over.i replaced a tirerod end on one side not to long ago, i dont know if thats related.

Not sure what I am working on here, you did not state, and it would help to know the make, model, etc. But, have you ever had the rear brakes adjusted? If the rear brakes are not touching the drums, they are not pulling their weight, literally. This would cause the front brakes to do all of the work when stopping, reducing the life of your front brakes.

The biggest reason of uneven/crooked pad wear is from the calipers, its brackets, and sliders. The calipers need to move slightly side by side with the pads as you apply and release the brake pedal. They move on sliders and if one of the slider is frozen, the caliper will push only one corner of the pad which in turn, causes crooked pads. New calipers do not necessarily come with new brackets and sliders. Be sure that you have smooth sliding calipers. Also, the cheap pads tend to be either loose or way too tight on the bracket. If they are too tight, they won’t slide with calipers. Pads get stuck and drag rotor to cause excessive wear. Try factory parts. Other your suspension issues may effect brake wear but you will have tire issues first. With suspension which is whacked out enough to cause the brake wear, you will eat up tire like eraser.

hi Lee i come across this relatively surprising you purchase an previous vehicle and assume it to love a clean one nicely the reality it has had a clean engine could be a brilliant indication that this extremely an previous shed on wheels and it will prefer so plenty greater maintenance than in basic terms a series of tyres this is going to choose a clean battery at some degree a clean radiator and sure new brakes like brake linings otherwise it extremely is steel to steel braking except you stick your ft in the process the floor like fred flintstone which you will even do with a rusty previous seat as nicely sure this is going to likely be eaten away via the steel moth as nicely, if it desires a clean engine substitute trees are going to be the least of your concerns with an previous vehicle. yet will could desire to be finished to get it with the aid of this is MOT each 300 and sixty 5 days. then there is the centers oil and oil filters and hoses which will desire to get replaced and exhaust pipe which would be rusty. so do no longer even think of approximately sticking some noisy ingredient on as that gets you a superb as nicely. in basic terms retaining it on the line is going to make it a funds pit.

It's definitely odd.You might check your wheel bearings to make sure there tight enough. That might cause the rotor to not run true and wear down the corners. Make sure the brackets that your pads set in aren't rusted up or full of dirt.

Rotors won't last a lifetime. They get warped, and you need to resurface them or replace them. If you replaced all the parts you mentioned you probably didn't bleed the lines correctly. Or you may be one of those freaks that DRIVE WITH THEIR FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL

It sounds like you may have the wrong pads or something it out of place.
I have seen pads put on upside down and the center doesn't touch the rotor.

I think it has something to do with the angle of the the road and if your roters are not at 180% and spinning at the right speed this could also cause it.
