There are ways, but they will never be used. Some ways include:
land mines
wall
minutemen authorized to use force

Ways that I think have a chance of being accepted would include:
sanctioning Mexico for not keeping its citizens there (and other countries where illegals are coming from)\
large fines on employers of illegals
microchip illegals so that we can monitor them from satellite when they attempt to reenter after being deported

Stiffer penalties. If you lived in a 3rd world country and you knew that if you were caught illegally in the us that you and anyone who helped you would be doing some serious time in jail would you come? Because right now, we just give them a ticket home, or drop them at the fence. Not very intimidating.

Our immigration equipment could desire to be thoroughly over-hauled. that's ridiculous to settle for an utility and ask somebody to attend 10 years for an answer. Having a extra robust criminal immigration equipment will a minimum of get rid of the quite a few excuses for (permitting) illegals. We could desire to guard our border(s) and enforce our regulations, yet we additionally could desire to have a functional and reasoned equipment for immigration in place.

It is nearly impossible to come to USA legally, and too easy to come illegally.
One would have to be a glutton for punishment to attempt legal entry.
We need to flip this around.
