Many and of several different races, some that were extremely racist such as some of the Italian mafia kids I went to school with. I agree that Byrd is a very good example but so is Al Sharpton.
I have met racist white democrats, racist black democrats, racist hispanic democrats, racist hawaiian democrats etc, its a myth that only whites can be racist. I bet they come in every color, religion and political persuasion there is.

If a racist is someone who would choose to depress/supress other people, then every democrat I have met is a racist. Keep preaching the idea of racism and not personal responsibilty. Give an excuse and the motivation to be an independent person. I believe teaching dependency on government as opposed to self autonomy is suppresive. Keeping people dependent upon the government, just as they were dependent upon their "Masters" is totally racist. The dems totally play into this. I say instead of GIVING them the fish, let's have some self accountability and TEACH them how to fish. This is applicable to people of any race.

Yes, everyone is somewhat racist.....it's a trait we are born with, an instinct. Whether it becomes an out-of-control action or behavior depends on an individuals reasoning and thought process, along with their IQ and ability to separate the wheat from the chaff. Reasonable thought, along with common sense determines the end result which should be a mutual respect for all races, creeds and original origins! Rampant and vicious racism toward an individual or group is based on hate and ignorance and should not be tolerated under any circumstances! All of us harbor some racism, including democrats!
