what kind? and what r the side effects u may get?can u smoke weed occasionally on the pill or is that bad?i know not to smoke ciggarettes.do u take it with u in ur purse.?anything ud like to add would be great thank you?
also what about sex drive i here it decreases it?

When I was 16 (some time ago) I started taking ortho-tri-cyclen. Yes, you can smoke weed, and yes I carried it in my purse for awhile, and then switched to putting it by my toothbrush so I would remember to take it at the same time every day. I have tried many methods since then and highly recommend nuva ring. It is easy to use, has few side effects and has added to my sex life. (I leave the ring in during sex and it adds pleasure)
As for the sex drive question, none of the methods have ever altered my drive, but they have to some of my friends.

I recommend taking ortho tri cyclen lo. It is the lowest hormone dose and has the least amount of side effects. My first month on the pill I got horrible side effects such as depression, stomach pain and moodiness. But the second I started my second month I was fine. I have been on the pill for three years now and I love it. My periods are regular, cramps are better, lighter and shorter periods, and no babies!
Weed is equivalent to cigarettes so I wouldn't recommend it.
I do take it with me in my purse. I also set my alarm on my phone to go off at a certain time daily so I don't forget.
I don't think it decreases your sex drive. I have never heard of that and it never happened to me.

Hey! I take Loestrin 24Fe. For the first two months, I had random spotting, sometimes heavy enough to be like a period, but by the third pack of pills, I didnt have that problem anymore. It initially dercreased my sex drive and made me really dry down there, but its starting to get better (I'm on my 7th pack on pills). Other than that, I really like everything about the pill I am taking- my periods only last about 2 days and I have hardly any PMS symptoms. For about the first week, it made me feel sick when I ate, but that didn't last long. I'm not sure about the weed; I don't smoke, but my friend occasionally does, and she's also on birth control. You would definately want to make sure that it's okay, though, because I don't know if it's safe for my friend to do that or not. Hope this helps! :-)

I may not be a female, so I will try not to overstep my bounds here. My girlfriend started on birth control about one year ago. I don't know about smoking weed that is a question for your doctor or your local planned parenthood. My girlfriend didn't take it with her in her purse because she didn't want to lose it or anyone mess with it. I know that it does make periods lighter and shorter, which is a big pleasure to everyone as she puts it. I don't know about if it decreases sex drive, but that could be because of something going on with your own internal hormones, or emotions.
You could consider switching to the patch that way you can be a bit more flexable in your timing of application.

I hope your pills help your spelling.
Read the label to see what possible side effects are. Smoking weed is just bad, and cigarettes are expensive. The pills I have seen are taken one a day, so you don't need to take them with you.

it will mess upp ur cycle like it did to me
now i have break through bleeding :(

my friend just started takin birth control, i dont know what kind, but her doctor said it will aslo get rid of acne. she will be 17 in a couple days
