Yeah, that's what I've been saying about that song for months. It's materialistic, redundant, and gives rap a bad image

Back In The Early Years Of Hip Hop. 1989-1996 I Think That All The Rappers Were Raw And Now They Only Talk About How Much Money, Cars, And Hoes They Have. There Is No Purpose..These Rappers Like "50 Cent." "Young Jeezy." Etc. Are Trying To Emitate Rappers Such As Tupac Shakur Or Biggie Smalls Which Is Impossible..Nobody Is Like Thoughs Two Men. Rap Has Changed..Alot. I Wish All The Rappers Now Wern't So Fake. I'm Probably Gonna Get Alot Of Thumbs Down For This But Thats Just How I Feel. Sence 1997 Rap As Gone Soft.

From everything that I have heard and read, I would have to say Scientology. Edit: For example, a case in point - the death of Jett Travolta: I am a huge fan of John Travolta, but he is a Scientologist. There has been a lot of controversy about whether or not his son Jett was autistic, but that is not the point. What is known is that Jett suffered seizures (which can be associated with a number of disorders) and had been on medication. Scientolgists do not believe in medication - and for some reason, Jett had been taken off his medication just prior to his death. Scientologists seem to believe that they can, through means that escape me (mind over matter?), relieve a body of all toxins and therefore cure them without the use of medication. Are people who believe in Scientology brainwashed? Yes, I believe so, if loving parents will knowingly deprive their children of medication that they need in order to survive a disease because of the dictates of a religion that is so controlling that they risk the lives of their loved ones.

Biggie said it the best, u have to make each project feel like ur first project. When 50 Cent was still hungry, he dropped Get Rich or Die Tryin, a great album, he aint hungry no more, so he tries half-heartedly. It happens to way too many rappers, 50 just has more potential than those, so i think it is more noticable.

Thank you! All this "rapping about how rich I am, bling bling, blah blah" is so old. I actually miss the "40s, blunts and b*tches" days it's so bad! I really don't listen to any of it anymore. Or punk. What happened to punk? Avril Lavigne?! Are you kidding me?! Sorry, just venting about the general crappy state of today's new music scene.
