in this book, why does athene like odysseus soo much more than all the other mortals? I get the idea she's in love with him but theres got to be more than that, anyone?

Athena sees Odysseus as a kindred spirit. In book 13 she tells him "We're both old hands at the arts of intrigue. Here among mortal men you're far the best at tactics, spinning yarns, and I am famous among the gods for wisdom, cunning wiles too."

She likes Odysseus because he uses his head/heart in battle as opposed to just brute strength.
