Your local craft store should have pouring resin and some ball molds. We used to do this in the 70's, I'm glad it's a craft that is making a comeback.

If I have the right image in my head – my Mom used to make something like this in the 50’s. She had little glass bulbs that she would pour some kind of casting plastic into. It was like an epoxy or rosin that she would mix two parts together and add coloring. The glass molds looked a bit like Christmas ornaments that had a wider part at the top for pouring into. Then after it set up you would break the glass. I haven’t seen anything like this in years, but maybe I have given you some ideas to help search on.

Tap Plastics has a casting plastic that looks similar, if you could find some molds.
