Semi-conservative!

When a new strand of DNA is made, one half of the original strand acts as a template, and is called the parent helix. The other side, which is constructed upon the parent, is called the daughter helix. So, one half of the original double helix is saved, or conserved, during the replication process. Hence the adjective, semi-conservative.
