First and most effective is not to have sex. No babies, no STD's.
Second is to use at least one form of contraception, or better still, more than one eg. the contraceptive pill (taken regularly) and condoms, condoms and spermicide. Remember only condoms offer any protection against a sexually transmitted disease (S.T.D.).
Thirdly you could use the Billings Method which is a combination of taking your vaginal temp., charting your periods, and noting any mucus. These will let you know when conception would take place, and you avoid having sex anywhere near that time. Not good if you or he have no control.
Fourthly and by far the least reliable is the withdrawal method. He pulls out before he ejaculates. A lot of unexpected babies happen this way.

Just remember - Never make love to someone you wouldn't want to be the parent of your child, because there's always the possibility.

go to the health dept or doctor and talk to them for the best method they suggest. Of course the most effective is abstinence. Use a condom always, no exceptions. Birth control pills are ok as long as you take them according to prescription. Spermicidal foam is worthless as it is messy and don't always work. Surefire way if you are going to have sex is always wear a condom even if you are taking the pill. Condoms do more than protect from pregnancy, they protect from disease. You can get free condoms at your health dept.

dont have sex of course, but you may do it anyway, so get on birthcontrol. if your parents wont let you, you are old enough to make the decision on your own through planned parenthood. Just look them up online. Don't forget to use condoms though because the pill does not protect against STDs. Be smart!

Take birth control pills, have the boy use condoms, and stores have these things that you can stick in you that squirt spermicide in you to help stop incase some gets in you. Also have him use the "Pull Out" method - before he ejaculates.

umm, well, don't have sex would be my immediate response. My next response would be use condoms and get on the pill. I have to warn you though, neither of them can protect from getting pregnant 100% of the time. PLUS, they can't protect you from sexually transmitted diseases....
Honestly, there is no way to protect yourself 100% of the way...
Just be careful, is all I can really say

Not have sex at all. But if you don't want to follow that, use the pill and condom together. Check out your local planned parenthood.
