Ben Franklin was an interesting man and a ladies man. he had a lot of experience with diplomacy to negotiate with the British and the French at the end of the war. But maybe he was too old and out of touch because he was in France to be President. He would have been a great President.

Franklin would be more fun.
But seriously, Franklin was one of those who developed the ideals of our country, even if his personal life was a little,,,never mind. He's much better qualified for this job than Falwell, meaning no disrespect to Falwell; he'd probably agree.
Besides, he might get the wild turkey named national bird, a hardworking and intelligent bird, instead of the eagle which is a bird of poor moral character.

Neither. Ben Franklin didn't like the Constitution. He wanted to change it. That and he thought the national mascot should have been a turkey instead of an eagle(quite a conservative point of view though). LOL!!! Actually i think a badger would have been a better representative for a national mascot. That is if we actually ever decided to once again follow the constitution. One other thing that bothers me about him was a comment he was quoted as saying. "So begins the New World Order". Hmmmmmm....................... We also know that he was a firm supporter of Democracy where his counterpart Thomas Jefferson was not. Funny considering both were in fact Freemasons. Though Jefferson did found the democratic party in 1792...........so......................... He also became quite reclusive, as did Washington as well. My question is why?

considering they're both dead, i'm guessing neither. But seriously...still...neither. Ben Franklin would be out of touch with today's times and social behaviors....and Falwell...... well...he'd accuse too many people of being gay instead of paying attention to the real issues.

Ben Franklin. He was a patriot, extremely competent and devoted to ensuring the protection of the rights of the individual.

Falwell was a demagogue, a cult leader, and advocated the imposition of a religious dictatorship in the United States. His policy of blacklisting anyone who disagreed with his right-wing views at his Liberty "University" is proff enough of his true anti-American views..

That's a no-brainer. Ben Franklin.

It's hard to compare two dead men, but I think they'd be an improvement on our current president. They wouldn't stumble with the English language like he does since they don't have working brains.

Neither one. They're both dead.

But, were they living... Ben. Ah... because he was smarter, more innovative and rational.

It occurs to me that if one was pres and the other VP... they'd be "Ben and Jerry". Hmmm... I'll have two scoops of Pistachio.
