The earth and the other planets all move around the sun, and Copernicus's heliocentric theory is correct in this respect.

But he didn't tell the whole story. He had the planets moving in circles or combinations of circles, which isn't exactly correct. Johannes Kepler later deduced that the planets actually move in elliptical rather than circular paths. The sun is located at one focus of the elliptical orbit of each planet.

The Galaxy moves in a counter clock-wise direction. The Sun (our Sun) moves in a counter clock-wise direction. The Planets within our solar system move in a counter clock-wise direction. Gravity is the relationship between three celestrial bodies. What drives the Milky-way Galaxy is a magnetic transmitter, the Sun receives this Energy and in turn uses it for growth, it feeds upon all the wondering dust, asteroids, comets, etc. A magnetic wave has hills and valleys and it is referred to as a sine. By tossing a stone in the water, waves generate from the center, expanding at a set rate or frequency perpendicular to the point of origin. A sine has a negative and positive and in so being it has a base line as compared to the Equator. All winds prevail from West to East in the Northern Hemisphere yet at an imaginary point reverses in the Southern Hemisphere when they prevail from East to West. The Helix is the twist of the magnetic field that starts at the Tropic of Cancer and terminates at the Tropic of Capricorn. It is this twisting phenomena that generates movement. The planets formed in the null of the sine, that point that has an equalibrium of forces both negative and positve. The dust collects and forms a sphere as it grows.
It is true that the Sun stays in the center and the planets move in an Order of the Universe. Keep in mind that the Sun was once a planet as it was ounce a speck of dust. I know knothing of helio centric theory. Why study a concept that has no base of origin. The Theory of Everything is based upon Pi=infinity. Pi as a noun and not a mathamatic formula is the magnetite crystal. An octahedron which is 8 triangluar sided source of the rare Earth element Neodynium. Books list it as a source of Iron ore which is true, yet the crystal would not be if it was not for neodynium.

The sun is the central object in our solar system and the planets orbit the sun.

Helio means "sun".
Centric means "centre.
So "heliocentric" means the sun at the centre. So Copernicus (and others) were correct that the sun is the centre of our solar system.
Our sun is not the centre of anything else - its just one star out of billions in the galaxy.

I asked a presidential adviser about that and she assures me that it is false. The earth is the center not just of the solar system but of the universe.

Just because environmentalist crazy people think that the sun is the center of the solar system doesn't make it so. Like global warming, it is in dispute and all right thinking scientists know that heliocentrism is a plot.

And it IS pronounced "Nuke-eular"
