I have so much to be thankful for because I know what it is like to be homeless and spend the night on the street. Then, God rescued me by giving me a successful and loving husband. I am now living the life of luxury. My husband is CEO of a fortune 500 company here in Tennessee, so he was able to provide me with the world and a great education. All that stuff is nice to have but that doesn't matter to me. Furthermore, the only thing matters to me is that I was rescued off of the streets into loving arms. I love my husband so much. We have been married for seven years.

Absolutely! I came from poverty myself, but I was blessed enough to have a driven parents, my mother in particular, who wanted more for their children. By seeing my single mother raise four children alone, while working two jobs, and going to college to earn two master's degrees, I learned that I could accomplish anything in this world. My mother is my inspiration and from her example, I have accomplished a lot in my 26 years. I won't go into my personal details online, but I have more than many people twice my age. I still have a looong way to go, but I thank God daily for what I have, especially the drive and creativity that he has blessed me with, because for so many people mediocrity is acceptable. Whenever I forget how blessed I am, I just think of all of those people who go to bed hungry, or are homeless, or are not in their right mind. Yes, I count my blessings and sometimes I cry because I know where I came from, and where I am now. For many people what I have is nothing, but with everything that I've been through in my life, it is a miracle.

I hope your life is all that you hoped it would be. Being taken off of the street by a loving man, that in itself is unique... all that being said, yes, for anyone who has a wonderful life, you must be thankful each day for all that you have knowing that in the blink of an eye it can be taken away from you. So yes, I'm thankful each day for my loving and caring husband, my 2 beautiful children and the life we all share together.
