When viewed from Earth, successive inferior conjunctions of Venus plot a nearly perfect pentagram shape around the zodiac every eight years.

A pentacle is the the five point star that has no beginning and not end. Each point represents a different element; Water, Fire, Earth, Air, & Spirit. When you add the circle around it, it becomes a pentagram. All the circle represents is the unification of all five elements and the circle of life.
