I'm black, and older white men in their late 60's and older seem to be really nice to me. I don't get it. Is it like a secret code or what? Shouldn't they be racist? Especially what happened the time they were growing up? Jim Crow and all.

Just cause they're white and old doesn't mean they are racist.
Edit: Depending on where they are from can determine if they are racist. Raised in the South, most likely. In the North, probably not.

Well because a lot of white elder people during there time of childhood were tought respect unlike some of the little punks that run around today. Not just saying only elder white people were expect to be well mannered, but its midwest and southern way of life to be well mannered, and curtious to others. Atleast it was in my house hold.

Miss the black Women has always been the preference to the anglo race. I am white. My first Wife was Creole from Louisiana. She was taken from me during our last year of College. I still date black Women. They are funny and yet serious.Witty and open minded and willing to take a risk within the World. Most of the older Anglo Men are seeking Company. All males go through a phase within their lives when they have to prove that they can still get younger Women to be attracted towards them. I still do it beautiful and yes I love life.

I have experienced that too. I have even had some go as far as to say ive never been with a blk girl before.

i believe you are thinking too much about things
I mean remembering little insignificant things like that happening to you does not make life better
And just because they are elder and caucasian does not mean they are racist. Didn't you ever stop and think "wait.. maybe they're nice to me because they are just nice people"
Some elder men are nice to me too. wow!! what a surprise! :)

I am over 60 and have been nice to everyone my whole life, My Daddy taught his children at an early age that N.......is an attitude, not a race. I have lived by that my whole life and taught my children the same thing. If you or anybody reading this takes it the wrong way, then you are a raciest............########

There is nothing wrong with them being extremely nice to you. Would you rather them be extremely rude to you? It is not nice to think that just because they grew up during those times that they would fall into the circle of the ones who participated in that behavior. Everyone should be nice to everyone.
