Where will A-Rod go? Now idea to be honest! Im a die hard Sox fan. Now wanting him to join the Sox is a good and bad thing. Now a good thing, I honestly don't think anybody could stop the Sox again if he joined the Red Sox, even though the Sox are a awesome team like this year anything can happen next year. What if Lowell doesnt have a great season again? What if Ortiz gets injured for the season since he is having problems. Lugo isnt the best hitter people know that, but a good defensive player. See A-rod may be selfish at playing baseball but people can't say he sucks or anything cause he has proven he is a allstar player. I think people live in the past to much and need to get over certain facts. The problem with A-rod going to the Sox again is that he is asking $35 million a year which is crazy as hell...

With A-rod asking $35 million a year very very few people can afford him. Yankees and Red Sox are the top teams then can actually get him and not worry a lot about money.

People will prob get mad at me but I would say:

Pick up Lowell again for 3rd base, A-rod SS, get rid of Lugo and Crisp, he just sucked balls this year! I believe A-rod can learn a lot from the sox about teamwork and brother hood like the sox have together..Yankees just had to many players that only cared about themselves..

I truly believe he'll go to the Tigers, and I'll tell you two great reasons why.

1. Tigers owner Mike Illich and General Manager David Dombrowski have a great relationship with A-Rod's agent Scott Boras.

Three recent Boras players have struck deals with the Tigers when most other teams passed. When Pudge Rodriguez was looking for a big contract four years back, it was the Tigers who took a chance on the aging catcher. When Magglio Ordonez, coming off major reconstructive knee surgury, was looking for a big contract, it was the Tigers who took a chance on him (and boy has that paid off). Finally, the Tigers first round draft pick this year was Rick Porcello, another Boras player. He was a nearly unanimous pick as the top player in the draft, yet he slipped all the way to pick 26 because most teams didnt believe they could work out a deal with Boras. The Tigers made it happen.

I believe most teams are going to find an A-Rod deal to be way too pricey. Ultimately, Boras is going to fall back on the Tigers, and they'll make something happen.

2. Finally, look at Mike Illich's track record. He is also the owner of the Detroit Red Wings. What happened when the Red Wings became Stanley Cup contenders several years ago? Every year, the Wings were landing the top free agents, earning comparisons to the New York Yankees of hockey. They had a hall of famer at nearly every position. I believe that Illich will be doing the same with the Tigers.

A-Rod is going to the bank with all his money! Someone said jokingly that A-Rod was going to China - I live in China please don't even joke about that! I met a fellow Tigers fan (a Chinese Tigers fan right here in Dalian China!!!!)here yesterday and I didn't ask him what he thought, but I quit rooting for the Tigers if they sign either A-Rod or Barry Bonds. A-Rod will end up with the Dodgers - both he and Torre have something to prove now and only LA is big enough to hold A-Rod's ego now that he flamed out in New York.

Hey Cush, I don't mean to spoil ur bubble, but he is not on the rebound like those other Tigers players. He is in his prime. If you are truly a fan of your team. Why would you want A-rod on your team. I will be straight with you I am a Yankees fan. It was hell to see A-Rod be clutch all regular season. Then when it came down to it A-Rod was clutch nevermore. He shouldn't even be signed, he is just a 35mil/yr. upset.

I think he will end up an Angel but possibly a Dodger with Torre going there. Either team will be much better for getting him. As long as he is staying the hell away from Beantown all will be good. Go SOX !!!......and resign Lowell !!

Anybody that wants him, is my best guess. But I don't think that he will be going to the Chicago Cubs. But then again, I can't say that for sure, with all the teams in both leagues, you never know where he might go.

I can't really say where he'll end up, but for sure (thats what everyone says) he'll end up somewhere in the NL. Possibly the Dodgers, Cubs, or even Mets!!

Where do I want him to end up?
