Periods aren't like just a gush of pad after pad of brownish red liquid. It comes and it goes. You leak a little here and a little there. You laugh, you may leak. You stand up, you may leak. So long as you have a pad, you're okay.

When you first start your period most of the time it will not be regulated. Meaning you may not bleed for the full 5-7 days like usual. You sound like you may have so keep the pad on in case. Remember the date you started and next month around that time watch to see if it happens again.
Also in a lot of females periods do not regulate tll they are 18 years old. I personally started when I was 15 and I had a period for 3 days every 2-3 months. My doctor explained to me it was normal and that I should only worry if it had not regulated after I was 18. So dont fret if you do not bleed consistantly for a week or for a day for that matter. Since you are new to it (your body) you may only spot . But talk to your mom or guardian and look into an appt with a OB/GYN.

That's probably it. Be patient. It was only 10 minutes lol. If you don't get any more in the whole day and next then it might not have been a period.

Yes, It sounds like you did. At first you may have a brownish red, then it'll turn red eventually, and it will vary for a while, and after it happens a few times it gets heavier. So probably.

Yes... it is... It takes more than 10 minutes for more blood to come during your first period. May take hours. That is what happened to me.

Not all periods are red. The stuff that you are talking about is the lining of your uterus coming out. It's okay. Don't freak out. Your period will last about 4-5 days depending on your family's history (health).

It sounds like you may have it. Keep the pad on. It starts out slowly. You may get heavier tomorrow.

Yes, it sounds like you have your period. It may get darker red, or it may stay brown and light. Congratulations!
