One of the reasons that may have delayed Chris Jericho’s return from WWE are issues regarding his weight. According to some people that I’ve talked too, Jericho weighed no more than 200 pounds when he agreed to his new WWE contract. WWE obviously would like to see him put on more size to protect himself from injury as well as give him a more marketable look.

There are probably a few reason why Jericho hasn't come back yet, but I don't think his weight is one of them.

1. He hasn't wrestled in years, so he would need time to work off ring rust before coming back to a live Raw brand.

2. Vince wants to make money off him, and delaying his entrance will have more people watching Raw to see if that Raw is going to be the day he comes back.

3. Internet. Some have said Vince was upset that the return of Jericho got leaked out to the internet. Its a lot harder to have a suprise storyline in wrestling when so much stuff gets leaked out on the internet.

The thing with his weight could honestly be expected. If you stop performing something like wrestling for years you're going to put on more weight from not having the same physical activity all the time.

WWE waiting for a good timing..hes a big name and a former 1 time wwe champion and he has held 3 world titles..with names like y2j and edge coming back they have to save their returns as good ones. N Y2J has to cross the minimum 220 lbs if he wants a wwe title shot.

The WWE needs to employ you as a author. BQ: If WWE needs to keep human beings like me from stay streams and to really pay for it, no longer Justin Beiber. someone who has been a wrestler contained in the previous. BQ2: i did not watch it, no longer a large fan of football yet would you concentrate on the Packers preserving that identify on the end promoting? if so, then that's my popular lol. yet I did see the Eminem Brisk Iced Tea commercial on YouTube, so commercial-smart, that's my popular i wager. thanks for the thumbs up by technique of ways lol.

Does not seem very likely too me. WWE may suck when it comes to story lines and whom to push but to sign a wrestler no matter who he is when he was no where near the condition they want him in sounds far fetched to me. There is only 2 ways for him to put on mass quick. get lazy and eat unhealty high calorie foods (this would hurt his overall health and in ring performance plus make him more likly to get hurt0 or Steroids (considering the wellness policy this doesn ot seem likely either)

They are just waiting for the right time to bring him back. They wanted to get people talking and they did that. Now I agree they can't delay it too much longer. But I don't think the size really has anything to do with it (you can't believe most of the so called insider info you get on those wrestling websites).
I think they will bring him back with DX to try and get more of the old attitude back.

well one of the things i have found is that his return is being pushed back due to his book signings he is doing. he already had those set so he is unable to break them. he will show up after all his contracted signings are done.
