why do people insist on saying my religion is myth? *Sigh

My favorite goddess is Athena, after reading Agamemnon, by the playwright Aeschylus. She is portrayed as rational and fair-minded.
I think that girls today who insist on taking up ancient Greek polytheism as a religion are simply looking for something "unique" to pray to. If you read ancient documents from this time, you'll discover not everyone literally believed in the powers of gods and goddesses. They were viewed as symbols and metaphors, as they should be viewed. Modern "pagan polytheists" are kind of silly if you ask me. But I guess no more silly than those who adhere to the more popular organized religions.

I don't believe in myths literally, but the collective mythology of mankind points to truths about the origins of our species and the history of our planet.
I think there was an Atlantis, a great flood, an Adam and Eve. Certainly great civilizations have come before us and left behind nothing but myths.

Artemis becuase she has a twin brother *Apollo* :3
Also her aim was perfect, not to mention a nature lover like myself, she was Goddess of Nature & Goddess of the Moon *Waxing Moon/Crescent*, her attitude *especially her Chastity*, she's an amazing Goddess! And she was one of the three Goddess's immune to Aphrodite!
Also Athena for her amazing Wisdom, Knowledge & she is a Great Warrior just like Artemis:3
I love Goddesses that are free and Warriors, those who won't give up & also both do serve Justice unto the Unjust, another thing why they are my favorite. =D
