It seems to me women who are anti-hip-hop and rap because of some rappers that ""degrade"" women by calling some of them BlTCHES and H0ES, need to start by not calling each other BlTCHES and H0ES, those women need to stop degrading each other if they want anyone else to stop.

Well the women who are groupies/video ho s provide rappers with the empowerment of saying whatever they want...Like Ice Cube said back in the day...A b itch is a b itch...
Women with self respect should know that those comments are not directly aimed towards them...But they also have a right to not like what some rappers say...

they're generating songs that "sell". Its the fact. It has additionally been reported that in case you stroll right into a recording label producer's workplace and grant a demo that doesn't have lyrics that contain the words b'ches and hoes, they do no longer seem to have an interest. As a shopper we could desire to be proactive as nicely, and meaning do no longer purchase the cd's or pay attention to the track that has those lyrics. those "black" rappers as you place it, are being rewarding the perfect way they understand how -- regrettably it extremely is degrading women individuals. for the checklist, once you say "often the black ones", there are some white people who're attempting to be "black rappers"....foodstuff for thought....

not only dat,
they make women into sexual objects, reducing intimacy to eg sticking a key in some ignition etc
getting women to bob around naked
yeah, pple may refuse but it does degrade women, but prob is women seeking mens approval to such an extent that they commercialize their bodies
women are depicted as knuckle-heads who are willing to share a man coz he has dollar, hence u see 10 women with dancing 4 one man...so men buy bling bling, cars and women, puh
womens value-their booty,size of lips...
those who do so accept the abuse so we cant totally blame the rappers, we also blame the women who dont respect themselves enuff and get the other respectable ladies treated bad.
Blame goes both ways
However to those of us who DO have brains and loads to offer, degenerate golddiggers wont help define the fine lady that I was ,am and will be
From a self respecting woman!

The system degrades men and women worse than any rapper degrades women. Guess people's priorities are messed up?

I like the way you put a spin on that in the end...its kinda similar to the ni88a controversy. but it does to a point...It offends me because it getting too plentiful among mainstream rappers...those words play on the radio now and its becoming okay...thats what offends me...but at the same time i dont have to listen to it or support it...dat all

As a female who likes hip hop I belive if you let yourself be degraded then you will be degraded. A woman who has standards of respect will get the respect she demands. So don't blame hip-hop for the lack of respect.

they brought that name among themselves, just like snoop said..or someone said..i dont remember who it was but they said they are not talking about all women..just the ones who are going around being hoes...groupies etc. why talk about rappers degrading women when you have these porno magazines with women sticking things in their p*ssy or up their ***.

I don't use those terms in referring to other women. As far as I'm concerned, "hoe" is a garden tool, nothing else. Still, I don't like how this music degrades women, especially black women. Do these rappers not like black women?

Well there are women who say that rap degrades women by using the terms "*****" and "hoe"
Then there are the women who call other women that they don't like "*****" and "hoe"
They're not necessarily the same group of women, so they can't be called hypocritical

mmmm...okay, let me start by saying I dont think the reason men keep calling women HOES and BITCHES just because they hear us calling each other that.I feel guys say it because the "lady" is either acting a certain way or thats how they see us(as hoes or bitches), but it's sad that guys want to call women that anyway...it's just like the N word, black people took the word and turned it into something positive and we expect the "white" people not to say it...Women took the word b*tch and h*e from the men and turned it into something positive, and yes sometime we do use it to degrade one another, but we still expect you(a man) to not call us that if were not acting in such a way ...
