In the play THE MOUSETRAP by Agatha Christie, What did Georgie want, what were his motives fr the killings?
Why did he kill the london lady?

I cant figure this out??

If you're having trouble understanding because you're reading the play instead of watching it, i sympathize. Plays are meant to be seen, not read.

He wanted revenge. He was insane, due to something that had happened to him when he was a child. He and his brother and sister were foster children, who were maltreated. Georgie's brother ended up dying as a result of neglect. Georgie blamed the people who could have helped and didn't. The woman who caused the mess, the foster mother, and Mrs. Boyle was involved somehow, I forget, and Molly, the main character, was a schoolteacher who missed a letter that had been written to her by the boy who died. She wasn't aware that she could have done something until it was too late. Georgie didn't know this.

He thought that by making things right, he could bring his brother back, and it would be like it never happened. A nice dream, but untrue.

To read a play, put the actors on the stage in your mind and watch the play as you read it.
