Hey, life goes on, and I went so VERY, Very far from that point in time ... so much so that I EARNED my UGrad and Grad Degrees, served a Full (and Honorable) Career in the Military (and Retired!), inbetween survived a short disaster of a marriage, raised the children as a Long Term Single Parent, and now ...
AM ENJOYING tremendously the RETIREMENT Pension that MY Hard Work Earned me .. and also ENJOYING being an Empty-Nesting Retiree!
Life goes on, and I pity those who are stuck for a lifetime in that time period -- for it is sad that they never grew beyond ... never got to experience the full breadth of life ... and that includes the ups and downs!

Although living on my own is a wonderful adventure, I do miss getting to go home at the end of the day and have dinner with my parents.

no, i dont miss high school..but i miss the high school era..i graduated in 1964, and compared with today, it was a good time...at least in my era, there were no threats of killings in school, or bombs, or who had what cell phone or ipod....just driving around and looking cool and trying to pick up a date...
