Oh man Lisa ... you are so flippin' hilarious! And you have no idea how much I can relate to this right now! We just had a "pomegranate party" at school last week when several of the kids said they had never seen nor eaten one in their lives. One of my students who has a "pom" tree brought in 2 dozen and a big knife! lol
Needless to say ... I forgot to warn the kiddles about how badly they stain. Um .. yea ... you shoulda seen the red stained faces, fingers, clothing - especially the kid who learned over one on the table in a white shirt and had a perfect imprint of the inside of a pomegranate on his shirt! (You know ... it was like sponge painting!! LMBO!!)
Well ... it was all pretty funny until a parent (or 2) called the next day asking me - quite nicely actually - to warn them in the future so they could dress their child "appropriately" for such wild endeavors!!!!!!!!
Hey ... just because I'm the teacher ... doesn't mean I don't have lessons to learn!!!!!!!! Teeee hee! ;-)
