I have heard of Invisible Children. It's so great that your youth group watched the movie together. It's such a horrible tragedy and it's very important for people to get the word out.
There is a whole series of different bracelets, each representing a different child. You can find the bracelets in the store at www.invisiblechildren.com. There's also a lot of information about Uganda on the website.

To be undemanding to a pair media shops (the BBC as an occasion), The Lord's Resistance military has been interior the standard public interest for some years. There strategies are terrible: raiding villages, kidnapping the little ones, killing the adults (even forcing some little ones to kill their very own mothers and fathers) and then brutalising the abducted into serving as baby labourers and squaddies. i think of their events have decreased recently yet a terrible legacy has been left. What can society do with an eighteen 300 and sixty 5 days previous baby who could have already seen years of violence and wrestle, killed many circumstances and could of started his / her profession by being compelled to slay her very own mothers and fathers? How can the guy come again from that? without help, maximum won't be able to. They finally end up as criminals, bandits and are fated to a violent demise.
