I had the same problem...i was diagnosied with obstructive sleep apnea about 6 months ago. Which when I got into a moving vehicle it took me less than 2 miles to be asleep...i would air on the side of caution and just see a doc to be on the safe side.

Is she sleepy other places as well, or just in the car? if she is sleepy in general she may have a sleep disorder such as sleep apnea that is not allowing her to get enough deep sleep at night. If it is only when she gets in the car, it is probably just the motion making her sleepy, and is nothing to worry about.

its just the motion of the car, sometimes it puts people to sleep. dont let her drive.
