Not at all! Mom is gone now but in our time we were mistaken for sisters many times. She looked virtually the same from the age of 35 until her death at 85! Incredible genes. Of course, when I was a teenager, I wanted to look older and more mature so I did my best...lol! We also wore the same size and were about the same height. I was always flattered when someone said something...mom was a very beautiful woman in her way.

well I would be offended if someone mistook us for siblings because my mom is in her mid 50's and I'm in my teens... no one would though lol

It might be a little embarrassing because that person maybe thinks that your mom had you when she was really young - but I'm sure your mom loved the comment lol becaus it means she looks super young! I wouldn't be offended though - don't worry about it

No way. It happens all the time. My mother is beautiful and youthful, and rather than be offended I take is as a compliment~she's gorgeous!

I get it EVERYDAY! And no i'm not kidding, we look soo alike that at least 70% of people we meet think we're siblings... sometimes when my back is turned, people we know.. even family thinks i'm my Mom... its funny sometimes... lol!

No! When I was a teenager, everyone thought we were all sisters! It was funny! My mom still looks great! My grandmother looked good until she got sick & died. I guess I've got great genes!! I'm always told that I don't look my age!

Of course not! My mom actually looks like my sister and she gets so happy when people mistake us for sisters instead of mother and daughter.
