I have almost blacked out once, but I fought the sensation and managed to stay concious.
I had been sick the night before (upset tummy) In the morning, after using the toilet, I got into the shower to try and feel better. I was only in the shower for about a minute when everthing went black and the water from the shower sounded like I was in a cave. Thankfully the shower stall was small and I was able to prop myself up against both wall. I stood there praying that my sight would come back and that I would not pass out completely. I knew that there was no one who would hear me if I fell or cried out.

Why would you black out because the kitty went poopie?? I used to black out sometimes, back in 2005, and before that. Usually, after I was done, Taming the monkey, everything would turn black. I felt a bit weak, but otherwise, I came out, Unharmed.
Thank goodness for a pill called Gabepentin. It literally saved my Life!

I pass out for a couple of reasons. Once giving blood. Twice for unknown reasons that just kind of scare me. And I seem to be developing a tendency to pass out when I'm in a lot of pain. It's a very scary experience for me. On the other hand, my favorite post passing out thought was "huh, I guess I decided to sleep on the bathroom floor", it took another couple of seconds to realize that I had passed out from pain and slammed my face into the bathtub.

After a half bottle of hard liquor I get close to blacking out for a while, and end up with strange women that hurt me in a way that burns and requires penicillin.

I did have a few very short blackouts in the spring....I think it was due to water on the brain....but the problem has been sorted out now. I hope it doesn't ever happen again!
