That's why I don't go anywhere Christmas Eve, I hate dealing with the lines. My cut off date to do anything is December 20 so I can just stay home and enjoy the holidays.

For many, people gets more into a holiday mood at the last minute and that often leads into disaster because they spend money that they should not be spending and ignoring the bills.

I think it is fun to start shopping after Thanksgiving when the true Holiday Shopping season starts. Most people wait until between Black Friday & Christmas Eve because its when there are some really great sales or they get bonuses at work to cover their holiday spending.

This year, I am almost done shopping since I am due with a baby later this week. It will be weird not shopping on Black Friday & in the weeks leading up to Christmas. I may still have to go out just to get in the spirit of things!

Some people actually think its fun! Heaven only knows why but they do. And some say it takes away any doubts about what gift to buy because you've waited till the last minute, you don't have time to worry if what you bought is right or not.

I don't but my husband would be one of those people. He just always thinks he has time and then runs out of time. He not only leaves it to Christmas Eve but to just about the time they are closing.

i think it's fun getting that last minute christmas rush in. i usually leave some little things unbought just for the sole purpose of going shopping christmas eve. the lines don't bother me. it's the parents that yell at their kids non-stop while you're standing in like that aggrivates me. it's christmas....they're excited...ease up!!!!

because humans are procrastinators.... deal with it... you know lines will be long - be patient yourself, or do all *your* shopping in advance and skip the crowds.... and have a very merry christmas!!!
