We refuse entry to legitamate refugees. We lock up people without charges or the chance of a fair trial.
We deport people without care of what will happen when they land.
We torture rape and pillage from those who cant defend themselves. so i ask can we still take the moral high ground and accuse others of crimes against humanity when we are just as bad or worse.
Because this is a democracy, the actions of our government and trrops are done in our name and we are responsible for their actions.

America has lost credibility in so many areas - in industry, in intelligence, in peace, in government, in basic human trust and honour.

That's because American leadership has long ago sold out in order to accumulate money for the wealthy.

This is why everything has become a commodity - including politics, honesty in government and business - and why you can't find an honest politician or business leader unless you pay them money (hint - if you have to pay them to be honest, they are not honest).

That is why America has so many uninsured and poor - the land of opportunity has turned into a land of opportunity for crooks, robbers, all in disguise of leadership of industry, business management and government.

When Americans talk about human-rights violations in places like China and South Korea... the world laughs. Globally, America is seen as a backward country in terms of human rights.

To be fair, America does not rape or pillage; or at least, the soldiers themselves are not the ones pillaging.
Anyway, this is why torture is such a hot debate. Conservatives have no problem stooping to the terrorists' low level to condone torture. Liberals...just the opposite.

If we haven't yet, we surely should have. And the U.S. surely has no right to criticize how other governments run their elections considering the chicanery involved with the 2000 election.

Deporting is the issue I wanna talk about. We should not care about them, because they did not care about us when they decided to cross illegally in our country.

Pretty much - we talk a good game but we let our hysteria destroy our values and played right into Osama's hands.

We may kill all of Al-Qaeda, but we have lost the war.

there are two classes of governments and people who make such allegations -- real human rights abusers [Example: Iran] and those who want to become the new rulers of America [the leftists of the world].
