its funny they won cause i have these two friends, I'll call them Jon and Paul. Jon is a chargers fan, and Paul is a Vikings fan, so the WHOLE ENTIRE WEEK Jon was making fun of Paul saying how the Chargers were gonna kick ***. Then he made a deal for 5 bucks (its not a lot but its just the message). Pretty much Jon got Paul really feeling weak about his team, and then the Vikings dominated, and Peterson had a record day. I can't wait to talk to them tommorrow and see the smack talk.

That was a bit of a surprise, considering Minnesota's record going into the game. As a Packer fan, I've had some of my biggest football arguments with Viking fans (I know a lot of people from Minnesota). But when the Packers last played at the Metrodome, Viking fans were giving Brett Favre a standing ovation. It was a great display of sportsmanship. I must return in kind. There are no fans of either team at work (I now live in Lansing, Mich.). Too bad--it would be fun to sit in the break room and watch the interaction.

It's no surprise, anyone can win any week....and Adrian Peterson is running like he did in College, the Chargers were also running a 3-4 defense which is vulnerable to the run... he had a hay day and broke an NFL record in rushing. Was a fun game to watch I tell you though, and with the Chargers unable to match Adrians thrust... the Chargers lost ;)

I can't believe it... but you know Peterson did an amazing job... and without Castillo, Jammer, and Philips on the chargers defense, that led Peterson to do what he was doing.... The refs also made really really really poor calls against the Chargers it was a really sloppy game

When their ROOKIE rusher sets an NFL record for highest rushing yards in a single game, yes I actually can believe the Vikings won.

They should have won with the kind of day that Adrian Peterson had.

I can believe it, Adrian Peterson was unstopable.

I can believe it. That rookie Peterson is really something else.
