try thinking about it as a bystander, is his family right or are you? if his family is in the right do your husband nice and say so, if you are in the right kick his *** and ask him to rethink his stand... good luck sweetie

funny i did have a husband that sided with his family on everything then guess what? wel i finaly got discusted. well and decided enough is enough and left then he changed but it was too late and i hated him and got divorced of coarse there is more to this story but its very hard from them but they need to know you become one when married and not to your family that goes by way side if you are smart take care.

I used to get annoyed to the point I would debate with him over it. Since I learned he is what he is, our marriage is what it is and I love him despite this so learned to find worth in myself and stopped worrying if he or anyone agreed with me or not. "Just because the majority agree on a stupid idea - does not mean it is not a stupid idea." More importantly I learned to not make myself the outsider (even if I have to bite my tongue or not stand up for myself) where he is put in the middle where he needs to take a side.

I would be mad. The husband is suppose to leave his family and cling to his wife...Not his family! Cut the strings already!

I was in this situation and I am no longer married. I never felt like I was a priority to him and became very bitter and bitchy until we finally split.
