And which team or teams in the NBA do you feel aren't so classy or top notch organizations as well?

Top Notch Class Award would be a tie between The San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks. The Spurs continue to win each and every year with a classy group of guys. They aren't flashy, appearing weekly in a police blotter, and always seem to have an even keel about themselves (like their coach). Some people say they play dirty at times, but the Spurs just live within the rules set down by the league---and keep winning.

Now people can't stand Mark Cuban (and I'll be the first to admit that he is a little flaky) but he spends money making sure his players travel without stress (private jet). eat very well (personal team chef), and train with the best equipment (state-of-the-art workout gear). And nothing says that the owner of a team can't be a little psycho.

Now on the other end of the class line----THE NEW YORK KNICKS. We can start with an owners blind loyalty towards not the players, but the ridiculous Mr. Isiah Thomas who has yet to acknowledge that he did something wrong in the eyes of the court system, the public, and should I dare even say God. Defend him all you want but his actions (and that of the organization) was found to be wrong by a judge. And what happens to him? Well the Knicks and the owner stick by his side. Oh and by the way.......nice going Mr. David Stern for washing your hands clean of the whole thing by doing absolutely NOTHING!!!

The definition in the NBA of classy orginization are the Spurs. Just look what Tim Duncan arguably the most dominant player from 1999 did! He signed for less than max amount of money so they could better the team!

The lower class.. well.... The New York Knicks take the cake with Isiah Thomas and his sexual harrassment scandal and the other load of problems over there.

Sonics ownership, not classy. Purchased the team with full intentions of moving to Oklahoma, but kept denying. Now, when they think they won't get a new arena in Seattle have requested permission from the league to move the team. Of course, they notify the league this past week, when they have until like May or something. While this sounds like no big deal, I personally think it's a move on their part to basically have Sonics fans stop supporting their team this year (knowing they're leaving), just so when it's decided they can argue there is no support for the team in Seattle.

The Sonics also have a lease at the Key Arena through next season. They are trying to get out of the lease to move next year.

San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz are top notch. Portland is heading that way after years of 'Jail Blazer" status. Cleveland is headed that way also.

Not classy: New York Knicks and New Orleans Hornets owner George Shinn (but the Hornets players are good guys).

All the texas teams are classy, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas. I don't think that the Kings and Twolves are classy organizations (fans don't take it as an insult)

The cavs are classy, yet they are really fun. I definitely enjoy their interviews/website the most, their O.K. with just having fun (for the most part.) This makes them top notch for me, at least.

The Spurs. They have mature players who actually play the game...and play it well! They are perhaps the most underrated NBA champions ever.
