He seems to know a lot about politics I figure he was at least the president of a small country at one time. I'm sure he was.

Acutally, Michael Moore has public office--at the age of 18, he was elected to the school board with the promise of firing his high school's principal and vice principal. I remember reading about it in one of his books and confirmed it with a quick internet search.

Hey, i'm sorry but you wrote public "offense" when i know you meant "office"...someone elso wrote that you should use
spellcheck...you actually need "wordcheck" but i don't think there is such a thing...i don't want to offend anyone but too many people write things online with poor grammar or spelling and it's sad to see....anyway, Moore has never held
public OFFICE....good luck!!

One has to suck up to the interests of the super-rich rather than the interests of the working class in order to raise the needed funds to gain public office. Michael Moore clearly represents the interests of working class Americans and no such person holds any important public office.

Michael Moore in basic terms has to make up 0.5-truths and take costs out of context each few years for clean video clips. Hannity and Rush could do it for every day shows. so as that they simply have greater of them.

You mean a public 'office'? Either way, the answer is no.
You don't have to be a politician to be paying attention to politics, or to have connections to insider political information.

I'm sure he's publicly offended lots of people. However, if you meant office no.

Well, don't we all claim on this forum to know a lot about politics. I know I've never been the president of a small country. Have you?

I happen to find Michael Moore offensive.

It would be one thing if he was honest about his political agenda. He claims to be an American patriot but in reality he is a political activist. The purpose of Moore's heavily biased and dishonest documentaries is to persuade people to become socialists and communists. Undermining the American way of life is Moore's contribution to society.

Everything about Moore is pure hypocrisy- he tries to act like a "working man" but he grew up in a wealthy family in Michigan; he wears that baseball hat to relate to common folk but he lives as a limousine liberal in a gazillion dollar condo, living in luxury.

Moore has never done anything but his stupid "staged" documentaries; even Borat is more of an honest "doc" than the socialist propaganda, he produces. His last movie, "Sicko" ignored the primary problem in health care costs- the trial lawyers. How in heck can you complain about the cost of health care and support trial lawyers who prey on poor and tragic people, to take 30% - 40% commissions; force drs and hospitals to pass on excessive charges to cover their insurance from frivolous law suits; fill up our courts with fake law suits; make our society highly litigous BUT Moore supports these villians because they are partners in spreading the diseases of socialism and communism.

Um, am I supposed to laugh?

OH, you *do* mean "office". The answer is no. He distrusts politics and politicians of all stripes.
