Are you sure its 2 games? I wanted to go see the Fire Against the Revolution at Chicago but I could only find tickets at New England.

Its only one game u play who ever win goes to the finals if they get tied they will go to extra time who ever scores in extra time the game is not over yet they go second extra time there is only two if u score u continue if u win in the extra time u advance.Extra time only last 15min each.If tied u go to pently kicks they have to take 5shots if tied again u keep contiuning who ever scores wins.So its sort of confusing.Need more advice cotact me.So its both in the finals and semifinals.

It's very simple.
The rounds before the Final are 2 home/home games.
Each club plays a game on the road and at home.
The team with the most scored goals goes through. Unless its a tie, with both teams scoring 2 goals in the 2 games.
Who ever has more away goals wins.
The final is one match played somewhere else in America- so neither team is home nor away. Its very important to clubs for the home supporters.

In the semi-finals, it is home/away aggregate. In the conference finals, however, there is only one game at the site of the higher seeded team. The Fire will only have one shot to move on, and it is against bloody New England. Unfortunately, no more Fire home games, but there is a way to get your party on for the Fire:

1) Go to New England: read through this thread http://www.soccerpubs.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=24288

2) Watch with the supporters at a local pub: read through this thread and similar threads at the listed website

3) Go to official viewing party at Toyota Park: read through this thread

The "Conference" Finals and MLS Cup are played as one game series under typical rules for one game cup competitions -- namely 30 minutes of added extra time followed by penalty kicks if needed.

for semis:
play two games... aggrigate score... away goals count more, then if tied... extra time... then after 30 mins if still a tie, penalty shot out....
Final:
play 90 mins.... if tied extra 30 mins... then if still tied penalty shoot out

MLS players are not real players,
Frank Lampard can easily take on any MLS team, 11 vs. 1.
