Arrange the following according to expected values for b (volume correction value) in van der Waal's equation.

He, CO2, H2O, HF, SF6

SF6 > CO2 > H2O > HF > He

Think of the volume correction with respect to how big or small the molecule is. Using this criterion, smallest b value will be Helium and largest will be SF6. Thus, the order is
He < water < or close to HF < CO2 < SF6.
