Also, do they just use a regular ski boot?

Ski boards are just a combination of skis and a snow board. it is a really long snow board and I have tried it a couple of times. Some french guys brought the things to the Helicopter service that I was using. They drew really long lines in the snow and hit some pretty amazing speeds. For bindings they just had two regular ski bindings mounted next to each other. Now this was a long time ago and like all ski related technology I am sure that things have changed a lot. My info here is pretty dated, so don't be surprised if things have changed.

I have the original HEAD "Big Easy 94" skiboards that have Tyrolia bindings (they are 94 cms long wide like powder skis). I think this is the most popular skiboard model. Another common skiboard is the Salomon "Ski Blade" which is also short but not as wide and has clip-on bindings that are not releasable. I owned a pair of these for a while but sold them and bought the Big Easy 94s because I wanted releasable bindings.
