my pic is 2000 images w/ jpeg and 1200 with gif but i need 1000kb in either jpeg, gif, or png... how do i change the size?

Shrink the resolution or shrink the "quality" setting in the JPEG when you save it.

It do depend on what program you are using to modify the image and save it in the different formats. Nearly any graphic will let you resize the image and then give you the new size. Some will even optimize it for you by condensing it to a smaller size. Paint Shop Pro, and Photoshop with do this.

In PSP you would go to the image menu, and click on resize canvas. Put in your deminsions until to have it about right.
