puslating brakes usually means that you have a warped rotar possibly from slowing down at highway speeds. that kind of braking produces extreme heat which can harm all of the braking components. also you say that the pads are new which means that maybe a caliper (the part that pushes the pad to the rotor) may be stuck open causing the pad to rub while your driving, hense the reason you have a warped rotor. or while your pads where being changed if you have drum brakes the emergency brake adjustment bar may be set incorrectly causing those pads to rub the brake drum ......causing heat and damage. sorry for the novel but im just trying to help

Hi there...generally it means your rotors (one or both) have become warped...bring your car in to a brakes specialist and they will likely suggest having the rotors turned (mechanically skimmed and resurfaced) so that all brake pads compress evenly onto them. They will also suggest replacing your brake pads at the same time because the ol ones have worn unevenly as well. Good luck and shop around for best value for your buck...not all mechanic shops ae created equal !

you will definitely want new rotors or have them resurfaced. this is brought about by using your brakes whilst coming to a end or controlling your speed whilst occurring a hill. Get interior the habit of gearing down particularly than using the brakes. They positioned all those positions on your gearshift for a reason. permit the engine do many of the paintings whilst slowing and you will have alot much less maintenence on your pads and rotors.. solid success.

How did you tighten the lug nuts when you did the brake job? Too many times people use an impact wrench with too much torque and it tends to warp the rotors. I'd try loosening all the lugs and retightening them by hand. With a standard lug wrench you should be able to tighten them right with out over torqueing. This has worked quite a few times for me. Most manufacturers recommend 70 to 80 foot pounds on the lugs.

if it is when u are actually pressing the brake petal you rotors are warpped, buy new ones, don't try having them turned because the metal will not have the true thickness 360 degrees around, and can warp again!!!

rotors need to be turned, they might be warped, or you have a bad power brake booster
