Are there people online whose opinions you value and trust enough to share your problems with?

Off-line my friend and co-worker, Carla. She is an amazing person and one of the best nurses that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. On-line I would feel comfortable with three others and I think you may know who I am referring to. ;)

I turn to a few trusted friends or family members, depending on the problem. I am developing some lovely friendships here that also have been great with advice!

I always turn to my best friend first. I wouldnt mind putting things on here if I needed advice, I can take the answers with a grain of salt. I dont have a network of friends online though, we've grown apart over the years.

When I have a problem I go directly to Ben and Jerry-ice cream that is. Ilike to keep my worries all bottled up and put on happy face. As for people here, well, I do value some of their opinions. They can be objective and frank. My friends cannot be.

There are a few of my contacts which I do correspond with over email that I really trust. It's interesting that on Y!A I have great relationships with women and when I was doing IM most of my relationships were with men. I like this better.

In person, my friends Patti and Sara. I have never thought of turning to someone online before, but I guess it would really depend on what kind of advice I was looking for.

No, I don't share my problems with on line people. I learnt that the hard way. (At least you can block them if they upset you).
My Mum was my rock when I had any problems, but she has passed away now so I pretty well keep it all bottled up inside.

Yeah, I know everybody in Polls and Surveys will give me the best advice possible, and more comfort than anybody in the whole world.

I have valued and trusted a person here, but it turned out to be not such a good idea.
I turned to my family and friends, but there are things that only one other person knows.
