The same thing that millions before your have done. Ask to be Excused, Hopefully you will have a pad or a Tampon with you. If not some schools sell them in the Bathroom 25 to 50 cents. Or Got to the School Nurse if not. Go to the Bathroom and use the product, Pad or Tampon. and return to class. It is not the end of the world. If you have an accident on your clothing, you may need to change. When I went to school, back in the Dark Ages before Tampons... I had spillage on the skirt I was wearing and it was the practice to go to the Home Ec Room and there was an washer and Dryer in there and an Iron if needed and since my skirt was a washable fabric, The tacher and I soaked out the stain with Cold water, Salt And tide, rices out The teacher took it to the Dryer as I was on my slip (yes this was in the days when people wore only dresses to school We wher not yet allow to wear Jeans)waited off in their set up Room to wait. I was back in class the next hour. The one thing to keep in mind is be prepared and carry a Tampon or pad in your purse where it will not get damaged. I know now a days Almost everyone uses Tampons, But there are some persons that can not use Tampons for Medical reasons.

If it is your first menses, see the school nurse. The nurse will give you a tampon and ask you some questions about if you have any cramps or discomfort. If you have issues with tampons, use a maxi pad.

Your first period. Aw, hon, I know what that's like! Be sure to carry extra pads or a tampon with you. You can also talk to the school nurse about it. What about your Mom? Talk to her first.

If you know you're going to get your period, carry the things with you in order to deal with it... a change of underwear, pads, tampons, etc.

Ask a friend if they have a tampon or if you are too shy to do so, go to the nurse. they keep pads in the nurses office. They aren't the greatest, but they will get you through until you get home.

Always carry a tampon/pad in your backpack just incase so you can always run to the bathroom and put one in. But inase you forget, I'm sure the nurse's office carries extras.

Always keep stuff with you at school in your backpack. If you're wearing a sweater, tie it around your waist if it goes through. You can always ask a teacher if you need help too. Hopefully it doesn't happen though, I know how bad it can be. Good luck!
