I take glucosamine and chondroitin with msm for joints. It's almost everywhere and you can get clean stuff lots of places. And I do yoga and epson salt baths for aching muscles, or go in the spa.

The LimuPlus I drink took away my arthritis pain in my knees. I also use this oil called Sunjing for every ache pain and scratch I get. I added some more stuff to support my Immune health like NaturFlex which has Glucosamine and Chondroitin and a lot of other stuff including L- Glutamine it helps with immune, joint, cartilage protection, cell and tissue support. ( I am reading from the bottle, but I can tell it really does this for me, because I feel so much better now) I was a barber, and could hardly stand, and couldn't bend my knees without having to hold on to something as I came up. I am only 37 but between my job, and improper shoe support I was pretty much shot out!

I also take Coral Calcium, and Vita-Mune which is shark cartilage, and some other good stuff in there.

Eaculyptus oil and aloe vera work well and are found in most common muscle rubs. I know nothing of Epsom salts except that they're not technically herbs

actually you may think i being silly but if you soak Maryjane in rubbing alcohol and then rubb the alcohol on to the skin it will help quickly
