Maybe you should find out why some of the people are on here first. The majority of the points I received were while I was on bed rest for six months last year while being pregnant. Rather than going nuts I exercised my mind with reading questions and answering them when I was tired of reading books and I'm not much of a television person. It's rare when I log into Answers now but I have fun when I do. It gets my mind off my medical/legal practice.
By the way, I have over 15 years in medicine, a happy, healthy family and a life.

You may be somewhat right, but they did not gain those points in one day but maybe over months and a few years. Then again anything would be better if money is made. One is not getting paid here but having fun and getting the points and education.

I could think of a lot worse things that people could be doing. Maybe they just enjoy helping others through trying times. I, personally, do this only when I am at work to pass the time when there is nothing else to do.

My daughter has quit a few points , she will answer with a lol or omg. And answer several with those answers in minutes
Other than her way, yes they are very lonely people
